The next Chinchilla is Rosalie a female: Rosalie is a very out going chinchilla and really doesn't seem to mind being pet. She is always checking out whoever is giving her food and eager for some play time. She is very typical in being a curious chinnie. She hasn't given her foster parents any trouble. If you want a chinchilla that will probably blend right into your family and hop on over for attention then Rosalie is the girl for you. She is a standard grey colored chinchilla and her pictures show her fresh out of a dust bath so she is lighter in color than she usually is. Remember chinchillas need to be kept at temperatures of 70 degrees or lower because of how much fur they have so at minimum you need a window A/C. They do not sweat or pant so fans in the summer time are not enough. They can also live to 20 years so this is a long time commitment.
